I stated last year just how great Pusha T’s “My Name is My Name” album was. The album had Pusha T pushing himself to remain relevant in a constantly changing rap game. The album featured some very unique production with some minimalist beats.
One of the best songs on this album is “Nosetalgia” which features Kendrick Lamar. Both Pusha T and Kendrick lay into this beat and you feel like it wasn’t enough and definitely want more. Pusha T raps about his previous drug dealing past while Kendrick raps about his father’s drug addiction. It is a pleasure to hear these two together and just how easily they obliterate this track.
