With the news that TV on the Radio is working on a new album I decided to revisit their breakthrough album “Return to Cookie Mountain”. At first listen it is an eclectic album with offbeat sounds that didn’t initially get my attention until I returned to it years later. Lead single “Wolf like Me” is incredible but to me “A Method” is another standout track on the album. The band sings in accapella with vocalist Tunde Adebimpe whistling along.

Tweet Balance and Composure released their third album “Light We Made” this year and it found the band changing their sound. The record is more melodic and is not aggressive as previous albums. One of the best tracks from the album is “Postcard” with its catchy chorus and guitar riff. Check it out.
