When I first started listening to the Goo Goo Dolls, I had become a listener of Top 40 radio. I had developed an interest in other music outside of hip hop and the Goo Goo Dolls’ “Iris” was one of the songs that I latched onto. The song was released in 1998 as a single on the “City of Angels” soundtrack. It took me a while to see the film but the song itself was played continuously in my home especially when I recorded it on cassette. Check it out.
