21 Savage & Metro Boomin: Run Up the Racks

I am disappointed in myself for not adding Without Warning to my list of the best albums of 2017. I have been listening to this 21 Savage and Offset collaborative album constantly and really enjoyed the total aesthetic that the rappers and producer Metro Boomin created.

“Run Up the Racks” has 21 Savage rapping in his trademark hardcore style as the foreboding beat stutters behind him. Check it out below.

21 Savage & Offset: Ric Flair Drip

21 Savage and Offset’s collaborative album “Without Warning” came out on Halloween and proved to be quite a dark and haunting record. The album features some of the darkest and chilling beats from Metro Boomin that helps to evoke a horrorcore vibe.

“Ric Flair Drip” is one of the standout tracks from the album with its spooky beat and Offset’s tremendous ability to ride the sound. Check it out below.

21 Savage & Metro Boomin: No Heart

I used to a be a big proponent of true hip hop and everything it stands for but over the past few years I have learned to be more open to the different variations in hip hop. Atlanta seems to be the brewing grounds for the new school rappers who are making waves in the rap game. 21 Savage is one of those rappers with his deep and gravelly voice. His music tends to veer on the dark side and is quite gritty.

21 Savage and producer Metro Boomin recently released the EP “Savage Mode” which features the song “No Heart” which features 21 Savage rapping about fake people pretending they tough. Check it out.
